Author Guidelines

Authors are requested to submit their papers electronically by using online submission and review website

(http://qtanalytics.in/journals/index.php/IJHIR/information/authors). This site will guide authors stepwise through the submission process. Authors are requested to submit the text, tables, and artwork in electronic form to this address. Authors who are unable to provide an electronic version or have other circumstances that prevent online submission must contact the Editor prior to submission to discuss alternative options; email: support@qtanalytics.in. The Publisher and Editor regret that they are not able to consider submissions that do not follow these procedures and ensure the following points while submission of manuscripts.

Authors should refrain from misrepresenting research results which could damage the trust in the journal, the professionalism of scientific authorship, and ultimately the entire scientific endeavour. Maintaining integrity of the research and its presentation can be achieved by following the rules of good scientific practice, which include:

• The manuscript has not been submitted to more than one journal for simultaneous consideration.
• The manuscript has not been published previously (partly or in full), unless the new work concerns an expansion of previous work (please provide transparency on the re-use of material to avoid the hint of text-recycling.
• A single study is not split up into several parts to increase the quantity of submissions and submitted to various journals or to one journal over time.
• No data have been fabricated or manipulated (including images) to support your conclusions
• No data, text, or theories by others are presented as if they were the authors own work. Proper acknowledgements to other works must be given (this includes material that is closely copied (near verbatim), summarized and/or paraphrased), quotation marks are used for verbatim copying of material, and permissions are secured for material that is copyrighted.

Plagiarism and fraudulent data Plagiarism is not acceptable in QTanalytics Journals. Data and information presented in the manuscript should be original. Data should not be fabricated, falsified or plagiarized. Plagiarism is the act of misrepresenting work or ideas of other authors as one’s own without specifying its source.

If plagiarism is detected during the peer review proccess, the manuscript may be rejected. if plagiarism is detected after publication, we may  publish a correction or extract the paper. QTanalytics editors use the industry standard software Ithenticate to check for text duplication.

• Consent to submit has been received explicitly from all co-authors, as well as from the responsible authorities - tacitly or explicitly - at the institute/organization where the work has been carried out, before the work is submitted.
• Authors whose names appear on the submission have contributed sufficiently to the scientific work and therefore share collective responsibility and accountability for the results.
• Authors are strongly advised to ensure the correct author group, corresponding author, and order of authors at submission. Changes of authorship or in the order of authors are not accepted after acceptance of a manuscript.
• Adding and/or deleting authors and/or changing the order of authors at revision stage maybe justifiably warranted. A letter must accompany the revised manuscript to explain the reason for the change(s) and the contribution role(s) of the added and/or deleted author(s). Further documentation may be required to support your request.
• Requests for addition or removal of authors as a result of authorship disputes after acceptance are honored after formal notification by the institute or independent body and/or when there is agreement between all authors.
• Upon request authors should be prepared to send relevant documentation or data in order to verify the validity of the results. This could be in the form of raw data, samples, records, etc. Sensitive information in the form of confidential proprietary data is excluded.

Article Preparation

An original article would normally consist of 5000-7000 words (excluding figures, tables and references). All articles must be written in English, using UK spelling and terminology. If English is not your first language, please ask an English-speaking colleague to proofread your article. Submissions may be formatted in single or double spacing, preferably in Times New Roman size 12 font. All accepted articles will be correctly formatted for publication.

The text of the article should include the following :

•  title
•  abstract
•  text
•  references and notes
•  tables, figure captions and figures
•  keywords

Title, Abstract, Keywords, Addresses, Biographical Notes

Please assist us by following these guidelines:

• Title: as short as possible, with no uncommon abbreviations or acronyms.
• Abstract: should be factual and precise and less than 150 words.
  ∘  It needs to briefly cover the aim of your research, the methodologies used and what you concluded.
  ∘  Avoid including references. If essential, then cite the author and year.
  ∘  Avoid using uncommon abbreviations. If unavoidable, then define at the first mention in the abstract.
  ∘  Use any relevant keywords to improve the findability of your paper in online search engines and indexes.
  ∘  A well-constructed abstract is important as it will attract readers to your paper.
• Keywords: approximately 10-15 words or phrases. Keywords are important for online searching; .

* Author details should not be included in the article, and are only required when completing relevant sections of the online submission form.

References and Notes

QTanalytics journals use the APA reference system for citations in the text with a detailed alphabetical list at the end of the article. For reference guide: https://libguides.murdoch.edu.au/APA

It is imperative to ensure that all works cited in the text are included in the References section.

Footnotes should be avoided, but any short, succinct notes making a specific point may be placed in number order following the alphabetical list of references.

References should be made only to works that are published, accepted for publication (not merely "submitted"), or available through libraries or institutions. Any other source should be qualified by a note regarding availability.

Full reference should include all authors' names and initials, date of publication, title of article, title of publication (italics), volume and issue number (of a journal), publisher and form (books, conference proceedings) and page numbers.

Submission Declaration

Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis), that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, that its publication is approved by all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out, and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere including electronically in the same form, in English or in any other language, without the written consent of the copyright-holder.

Contributors

All authors must have materially participated in the research and/or article preparation. The statement that all authors have approved the final article should be true and included in the disclosure.

Changes to Authorship

Authors are expected to consider carefully the list and order of authors before submitting their manuscript and provide the definitive list of authors at the time of the original submission. Any addition, deletion or rearrangement of author names in the authorship list should be made only before the manuscript has been accepted and only if approved by the journal Editor. Only in exceptional circumstances will the Editor consider the addition, deletion or rearrangement of authors after the manuscript has been accepted. While the Editor considers the request, publication of the manuscript will be suspended. If the manuscript has already been published in an online issue, any requests approved by the Editor will result in a corrigendum.

Peer Review Policy

All research papers in this journal will undergo rigorous double blind review process, where both the referee and author remain anonymous throughout the process. All contributors will be initially assessed by the editor for suitability for the journal. Papers deemed suitable are then typically sent to a minimum of two independent expert reviewers to assess the quality of the paper. Only those papers approved by the reviewers will be selected for publication. The criteria for evaluation by the reviewers are Relevance, Methodology, Originality, Research, Conclusions, Policy/ Managerial Implications, References.
