Through a thorough survey, this study evaluates the level of financial literacy among Indian adults between the ages of 20 and 50. One hundred eighty-six adult respondents from a range of demographics provided primary data. The study investigates how well they comprehend financial management ideas such as tracking expenses, creating a budget, and using financial tools. It also looks at perspectives on the value of financial literacy and the perceived results of educational programs. The analysis aims to pinpoint the differences in financial literacy, routines, expertise, and conduct between various age groups, educational backgrounds, and work situations. The results are anticipated to shed light on the advantages, disadvantages, and necessity of specific laws, initiatives, and technical advancements to improve financial inclusion and literacy. The study emphasizes the potential for wise financial decisions, economic stability, resilience against obstacles, and adopting digital financial services by arming adults with financial knowledge. It acts as a manual for developing an adult population in India that is robust, financially smart, and tech-aware.
Shah Riya Pranav, Shah Vansh Paras, Rishita Shah, Rajamohan Kavitha ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://qtanalytics.in/journals/index.php/JBMIS/article/view/3421 Sat, 25 May 2024 07:01:45 +0000 A Gravity Model Analysis of China’s Bilateral Trade Flows: The Role of Free Trade Agreements and Exchange Rates https://qtanalytics.in/journals/index.php/JBMIS/article/view/3670
In the field of International Economics, the gravity model of trade has been one of the most successful empirical models guiding trade-policy decisions by nations. This paper aims to incorporate the theoretical foundations into the real world of trade flows between China and rest of the countries. An augmented gravity model is applied to study the impact of two variables, free trade agreements and nominal effective exchange rate on bilateral trade flows. Multiple regression analysis is carried out on a panel data consisting of trade flows with 224 countries from 1992-2015. The estimated results reveal a positive and significant influence of FTA on exports and imports. NEER displays a positive, though not significant, relationship with China’s imports and negative with exports.
Abhishree . ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://qtanalytics.in/journals/index.php/JBMIS/article/view/3670 Sat, 22 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0000
