The intersection of gender and development remains a critical area of study, as gender inequality persists as a significant barrier to equitable and sustainable development. This publication brings together diverse perspectives on the complex relationships between gender, development, and policy. Through contributions from scholars, practitioners, and policymakers, we explore how gender shapes and is shaped by development policies and practices. We examine how gender influences access to resources, opportunities, and decision-making power, and how policy interventions can promote gender equality and empowerment for all genders, including transgender individuals. By highlighting the importance of gender perspectives in development policy, we aim to contribute to a more inclusive and equitable development agenda that benefits all individuals and communities.
