Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • I ensure that all references cited in the text are correctly listed in the reference section at the end of the document. Similarly, please remove any extra citations or references that do not correspond to the text. Use only quality journals for references
  • I have checked the similarity with Turnitin, and it is less than 10%. For any concerns regarding similarity, I take full responsibility.
  • I ensure the consistency and correctness of table numbers throughout the text. Ensure that they align with the actual tables presented.

Author Guidelines

Submission Guidelines for Book Chapters – QTanalytics India Publications

Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished book chapters for edited volumes to be published by QTanalytics India. All submissions must adhere to the following bibliographic and formatting standards to ensure uniformity and high-quality production.

1. Manuscript Format

  • File Type: Submit chapters in editable Word format (.doc/.docx). LaTeX submissions are also accepted.

  • Length: Each chapter should be between 4,000 and 7,000 words including references, tables, and appendices.

  • Font and Spacing:

    • Font: Times New Roman, size 12

    • Line spacing: 1.5

    • Margins: 1 inch on all sides

  • Headings: Use a hierarchical system (e.g., 1. Introduction, 1.1 Background).

  • Tables/Figures: Numbered sequentially and embedded in the text with appropriate captions.

  • Language: English (British or American, but consistent throughout)

2. Bibliographic and Citation Standards

All references should follow a consistent style. QTanalytics recommends the APA 7th edition format. Below are examples of common citation formats:

In-text citations:

  • Single author: (Sen, 2005)

  • Two authors: (Kumar & Rao, 2019)

  • Three or more authors: (Sharma et al., 2020)

3. Plagiarism and Ethics

  • All submitted chapters must be original and free from plagiarism.

  • Similarity index must not exceed 10% (as per Turnitin or similar tools).

  • Ethical compliance including acknowledgement of sources and appropriate citations is mandatory.

4. Review and Acceptance

  • All submissions undergo blind peer review.

  • Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer feedback.

5. Publication Charges

Upon acceptance of the book chapter after peer review, authors are required to pay the publication charges to facilitate editorial processing, typesetting, ISBN registration, and indexing.

Publication Fee: ₹2400 + 18% GST = ₹2832 (Rupees Two Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-Two only)
