The digital revolution has altered not only how businesses are perceived, but also how they are carried out. It entailed a shift from traditional methods of operation to those aided by technology. In today's world, digital tools are used to run every aspect of a business, from operations to management. Such digital transformations have altered every industry, revolutionising customer service, increasing a company's competitiveness, and propelling it into the global market.

The profound transformation of business and organisational activities, processes, competencies, and models to fully leverage the changes and opportunities of a mix of digital technologies and their accelerating impact across society in a strategic and prioritised manner, with present and future shifts in mind, is referred to as digital transformation.

The COVID-19 pandemic has become a major challenge for businesses and societies worldwide. The 2019-2021 development trends have demonstrated that for market survival and successful activity realisation, the company requires the following: flexibility of managerial staff thinking, adaptation to digital transformation of society, and replacement of existing business models with more innovative ones.

Nowadays, technologies and innovations have an active impact on all aspects of human life, sparking digital transformation in business and society. Digital technologies have advanced and scaled rapidly over the last two decades.

Millennials have become the primary driving force of digital transformation in business and society due to their ability to mix online and offline communication, rapid acquisition of digital skills, database dexterity, and a desire to integrate technologies, products, and systems into all aspects of life.
