Article Withdrawal Policy
JREAS understands the prominence of scholarly record to researchers and librarians and therefore declares the policies for the Article withdrawal and maintaining trust for its electronic archive. The Editor-in-Chief of the journal is solely responsible for the contents and records of the journal and is the highest authority to take decisions on withdrawal policies which are drafted for the following:
i. Article withdrawal
Article withdrawn here it means the PDF or HTML version of the article is removed along with all its links. Article withdrawals are possible in rare cases where the articles has to be replaced in short span owing to errors or accidentally submitted twice. If found to content infringements of intellectual property rights and violation of ethical codes, contains fraudulent data or alike. Articles in press which are not published but early access copy is available on site can be withdrawn after publishing the final issue.
ii. Article retraction and removal
Violations of ethical codes of conduct such as bogus claims for authorship, numerous submission, plagiarism, and use of fraudulent data or alike can lead to article retraction. The publication of journal is often related to trust of the authenticity of the author and his loyalty. The separate link is provided in the journal discussing such cases. If the article is defamatory and for good reasons if ordered by court where there could be serious issues like heath risk. In such cases the article can be removed and mentioned that it removed for legal reasons.
iii. Article replacement
In cases where the article, if acted upon, might pose a serious health or social risk, the authors of the original article may wish to retract the flawed original and replace it with a corrected version. In these circumstances the procedures for retraction will be followed with the difference that the database retraction notice will publish a link to the corrected re-published article and a history of the document.
